Jacksonville is home to some powerhouse nonprofits. Like V for Victory! They help those going through cancer treatments.
There are several organizations that do this, but V for Victory does it with their own personal spin. Anyone, no matter the age, that is going through cancer treatment or on their way to cancer treatment gets a “Lego Token”. They’re able to cash the token in at a Lego warehouse where they’re able to pick any Lego set they want! It doesn’t matter the price, whether you want a Lego set that $9 or $900!
To these people going through cancer treatments, it’s much more than a simple Lego set. It’s an opportunity for the patients to get their min off of their cancer.
