Back in April, a baby Jaguar was born at the Jacksonville Zoo. The Zoo wanted everybody to get excited, so they opened up a naming contest for the baby Jaguar. You could submit a name for him and push your friends and others to vote. Whichever name got the most votes, is the name the baby Jaguar would adopt.
Well the verdict is in. The baby Jaguar has been given the name “Banks”! It represents the St. Johns River and the home stadium of the Jacksonville Jaguars!
The Zoo says Banks is curious, strong and learning something new every day! Welcome to the family, Banks!
