How is your house doing? Is it cluttered? It can be clean… but still cluttered.
I ran across this stat and it blew my mind! “There are 300,000 items in the Average American Home.“
Look around your house. Every knick knack, every coaster, every kids toy, dog toy… not to mention the garage! 300,000 items.
I don’t even want to know how many of those haven’t been touched in years. You know how freeing it is when you first move into a house and you only have the necessary items unpacked. Then you start unpacking all the rest and the house closes in on you?
Just like we all strive to let go of mental junk that keeps us from sleeping and functioning fully… maybe cutting that item number down by a few thousand (maybe more) would help us go a long way.
