There’s a study called ‘The Takeout’ that has listed some of the most common types off food injuries.

Between scrapes, burns, slices and more, the most common food related injuries include:

  • Instant Noodles – 31% of burns in Chicago, in children are caused by instant noodles!
  • Avocados – It’s called ‘Avocado Hand’, nearly 6,000 people went to the ER with avocado related knife injuries.
  • Mandolin Slicers – There are 21,699estimated emergency room visits nationwide in 2011 that were due to Mandolin Slicers.
  • Frozen Pizza – One year, there was 2,300emergency room visits for pizza related injuries.
